Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These terms cover your use of stayathomeplan.com and anything you buy here. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to them.

What you’re buying

The Stay-at-Home Plan is a digital guide delivered as a downloadable PDF. Your purchase gives you a personal license to download, print and use it for your own home, or to help a family member with theirs. Please don’t resell it, share it publicly or post it online.

General information, not professional advice

The guide and this site share general information about making a home safer and easier to live in. They are not medical, legal, financial, tax or engineering advice, and they don’t replace an in-person assessment by a qualified professional. Building codes, costs and programs vary by location and change over time. Always check local codes and hire licensed, insured contractors for work you don’t do yourself.

Costs and programs

Cost ranges are national estimates from the sources cited and will vary by region. Funding programs and their amounts change; check with each program directly.

Refunds

See the Refund Policy.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, The Stay-at-Home Plan and Michael Stoler aren’t liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of the site or the guide, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
